The Bahamas are right in the Hurricane Zone, and of course I was scouting there in October, during peak storm season, just weeks after the New Orleans disaster. The client had proposed shooting the "American Summer" spreads in the Bahamas and Florida all of December and January, so I asembled my local Teams, edited their libraries, and went to have a look at the selects myself.

The day I traveled from the Bahamas to the Panhandle, another big storm blew in right behind me. As I went north, the heavy weather went north, too, but then I jogged east to meet the Art Directors and look at some estates in Georgia as the storm moved west. Upon our return to the Bahamas to finalize our plans, we found our wind-blown scout relieved to still have locations to show us, and an office still standing. Here are just a few images from that adventure. The Teams had great weather for the shoot.
